Acceptable use policy

This page is a template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not legal advice. The operator of this service should review it before relying on it.

Waypoint is open to anyone, which makes it a target for abuse. This policy says what is not allowed and what we do about it. It is part of the terms.

What you must not do

What we do

We check destinations when links are created or changed, and re-check them regularly. Links that match our blocklist or safety checks are refused or blocked. A blocked link shows a warning page instead of redirecting. For serious or repeated violations we suspend the workspace or close the account, and we may report illegal content to the authorities.

Reporting abuse and takedown requests

If you find a Waypoint link that breaks this policy, use the report page. Give the short link and a reason. We review reports and block links that break the rules. You can also write to [email protected], for example for a rights-holder notice, and we will respond to valid requests.

If your link was blocked

If you think a block is a mistake, email [email protected] with the short link and an explanation. We will look again and tell you what we decide.
